Attendance Tracking is a free service that allows ISU individuals to track attendance at their events. After creating an event, you can have people "check in" using their ISU ID or Net-ID (@iastate.edu email). Check ins can done manually or with a card reader. You can also allow non-ISU individuals to check in using an email address. After the event, you can view and download a list of attendees that includes their name, email address, and the time they checked in.

Getting Started

There are three basic steps. 1) Create an event. 2) Check in your attendees. 3) View and download your attendees after the event. For more details, see the Getting Started Guide.

Card Readers

This system works with or without card readers. Card readers can, however, dramatically speed up the check in process by reading the magnetic stripe or the proximity chip from ISU Cards. The card reader hardware itself is not supported by IT Services or Web Development Services, but these Card Readers have been tested and are known to work with this system.
